Firearm Build & Deposit Agreement

Firearm Build & Deposit Agreement

This Firearm Build & Deposit Agreement applies to custom builds, limited edition builds, special release products, special-order parts, coatings, engraving, machining, fitting, gunsmithing, personalization, and other customer-approved work performed by Alpha Precision Armory LLC.

By approving a build sheet, spec sheet, quote, invoice, order form, email confirmation, or other written build details, and by placing a deposit or payment, the customer agrees to the terms below.

Deposit Required to Begin Work

Once a build sheet, spec sheet, quote, invoice, or written build details have been approved, a 50% deposit or payment in full is required before Alpha Precision Armory LLC begins the build or customer-approved work.

The deposit secures the customer’s place in the production schedule and authorizes Alpha Precision Armory LLC to begin ordering parts, allocating materials, scheduling shop time, and committing business resources to the project.

By placing a deposit, the customer is entering a binding agreement with Alpha Precision Armory LLC.

Non-Refundable Deposits

Deposits on custom builds, limited edition products, special release products, special-order items, customer-approved build specifications, coatings, engraving, machining, personalization, and gunsmithing services are non-refundable.

Purchases or deposits on any limited edition, special release, or custom build product are non-refundable.

Personalized Work

Any build, firearm, part, accessory, or service that has been customized or personalized for the customer is 100% non-refundable once approved or started.

Personalized Work Includes

  • Laser monogramming
  • Logo engraving
  • Names, initials, numbers, symbols, or customer marks
  • Custom coating colors or finish combinations
  • Custom machining, cuts, patterns, or texture work
  • Customer-specific part selections or build configurations
  • Any work that makes the item difficult or impossible to resell as standard inventory

Approved Build Sheet or Spec Sheet

The customer is responsible for carefully reviewing all build sheets, spec sheets, quotes, invoices, part selections, color selections, engraving details, coating details, machining details, artwork, logos, spelling, monograms, and written communications before approval.

Approval confirms that the customer accepts the listed configuration, work scope, pricing, estimated lead time, and applicable policy terms.

Alpha Precision Armory LLC is not responsible for customer-approved errors or changes requested after work has begun.

Changes After Approval

Changes requested after approval are not guaranteed. Alpha Precision Armory LLC may refuse changes if parts have been ordered, work has begun, materials have been allocated, or the change would affect safety, function, compliance, cost, or lead time.

Approved changes may result in additional charges, revised lead times, additional deposits, additional parts, or additional labor.

Remaining Balance

Alpha Precision Armory LLC will not ship, transfer, release, or make available for pickup any firearm, completed build, part, accessory, or serviced item until the remaining balance is paid in full and payment has cleared.

The remaining balance may include the original quoted balance, approved changes, parts, labor, coatings, engraving, machining, shipping, insurance, test-fire ammunition, payment fees, storage fees, or other applicable charges.

Lead Times

Lead times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Timelines may be affected by parts availability, vendor delays, coating schedules, machining schedules, engraving schedules, test-fire schedules, workload, compliance review, customer response time, payment delays, or circumstances outside Alpha Precision Armory LLC’s control.

Alpha Precision Armory LLC is not responsible for missed events, match fees, travel costs, inconvenience, or other losses caused by estimated or actual lead times.

Customer-Supplied Parts or Firearms

Customer-supplied firearms, parts, magazines, optics, accessories, or components are accepted only at Alpha Precision Armory LLC’s discretion and may be subject to inspection before work begins.

Alpha Precision Armory LLC is not responsible for defects, hidden damage, prior modifications, poor fitment, counterfeit parts, incorrect parts, out-of-spec parts, unsafe parts, finish defects, or functional issues related to customer-supplied items.

Legal Eligibility

The customer is responsible for ensuring they are legally eligible to purchase, own, possess, receive, transfer, and use the firearm, parts, accessories, or services requested.

If the customer cannot legally receive the completed build, fails a background check, selects a receiving FFL that refuses the transfer, orders a restricted configuration, or cannot complete the transaction for any reason, deposits and payments toward custom, personalized, limited edition, special release, or customer-approved work remain non-refundable.

Abandoned Builds

If a customer fails to pay the remaining balance, provide required information, provide receiving FFL information, respond to communications, or complete the transaction after reasonable notice, the build, firearm, parts, or service item may be considered abandoned to the extent permitted by law.

Alpha Precision Armory LLC may assess storage fees, administrative fees, return shipping, insurance, or other costs associated with holding or resolving an abandoned item.
